Room Rack

The Room Rack displays all of the rooms in room order (as set up in the Managers Configuration) with the status, room type and condition of the room.

To build the Room Rack, select Room Rack from the Status section of the Full Menu

OR

Select Room Rack from the Housekeeping area menu.

Once the Room Rack appears, you can select a specific building and/or room type or leave those fields blank to view all buildings/room types.

The legend appears at the top of the graph, detailing what the colors and letters (next to the room type code) represent as far as the room status and condition.

Occupied: A guest is currently checked into that room

Vacant: The room is vacant (no one has checked into that room)

Out of Order, Do Not Sell, Not Active: The room has been temporarily taken off the market as Out of order, Do Not Sell, or Not Active.

Unavailable: The room is not available because it is a suite or part of a suite and all or part of the suite is booked.

Inspected, Clean, Picked up, Dirty: These are the housekeeping conditions and refer to whether the room has been inspected by a Housekeeping manager, cleaned by housekeeping, needs to be "picked up" (typically this is when a room needs to be slightly cleaned.  For example if a guest checks into the room but decides they want to change rooms, or if the room was previously used as a show room and is now available to sell it would be set as "picked up" to let housekeeping know to go in and check it).

A number in parenthesis (0) indicates the number of nights prior to a guest arriving in that room (meaning they have a reservation for that room number).
