Point of Sale (POS) System - Overview

The Skyware point of sale system is built upon an integrated platform for seamless implementation and flexible scalability. Skyware's POS system is easy to use for quick service to high-end restaurants, lounges to bustling bars, gift shops to pro-shops to anything that requires a point of sale system. Skyware POS streamlines point of sale management through highly reliable, scalable, effective and flexible tools to manage your entire operation. The Skyware POS is designed for speedy processing of any purchases made and transactions may be cash, credit or transferred to the room. Taxes are fully configurable. The modules include detailed and flexible products, pricing, discounts, costs, receivables and suppliers. Receipts are customized to your property.

The POS system has two separate areas:

• POS for Restaurant and Retail Staff- This is the interface for restaurant and retail staff to open checks and charge items, as well as run shift or daily reports on daily sales.
• POS for Management and Leads - This is the configuration interface for the POS system. This allows restaurant and retail managers and supervisors to configure the POS system to include all of the menu items and their associated details, table configurations, meal periods and retail merchandise.

To access the POS interface for staff, select Point of Sale (POS) from the Other section of the Full Menu.

To access the POS Maintenance interface, enter the Configuration area of the Manager's Screen and click Point of Sale (POS).
