A Canceled Reservation can be reinstated to be an active reservation again, by searching for and selecting the appropriate stay.
To Reinstate a Reservation, select Reinstate a Reservation from Reservations Area (select Reservations from the Quick Menu).
The Select Guest to Reinstate screen appears, allowing you to enter search criteria such as Confirmation number, Booking Name, Last Name, First Name, Phone, ID, Company, City, State, Arrival, Departure, and/or Room Number.
After entering the search criteria, select <<Press to Search>> to search for matching canceled reservations.
Click the cancellation that you want to reinstate from the search results list. This opens the Stay Information for the selected stay. Notice that the Status for the stay, located to the right of the Confirmation number at the top of the Stay Info tab, has changed to RESV.
WARNING: Selecting the cancellation from the search results list automatically changes the status to RESV, reinstating the reservation. No other action is necessary. If you have opened the cancellation by mistake, click the ellipsis button to the right of the Status field to change the status back to CANC (canceled), and then click Save to return the stay to Cancelled status.
